I completed my law degree at Oxford University and qualified as a solicitor in 1995 at the international law firm Eversheds. I have spent a vast part of my career in-house gaining my experience at FTSE and owner managed companies across a number of industry sectors.

I am an experienced company and commercial lawyer who has been named in the industry bible, the Legal 500 review, as a noted corporate/commercial practitioner in the North West of England. As well as heading up a commercial/corporate team at a major North West and Legal 500 law firm, I have held senior legal positions working in-house and so am used to being in the business rather than on the outside.

I have strong commercial awareness and am comfortable working directly with the business.  I can operate at a strategic level in a commercial, fast moving environment with strong relationship development skills, establishing myself quickly as a trusted adviser to the business with a solution driven approach and an ability to swiftly interpret legal issues and translate them in a straightforward manner to non-lawyers.
